Nita Wiggins is a Paris-based university lecturer in journalism, communications, and social science courses. She appears on Paris’ France 24 television network in discussions on U.S. politics, civil rights, women’s working lives, media accuracy, and sports beyond the boxscore.

She works in close relationship with business executives in advance of their media appearances to help them structure and clearly deliver their messaging.

Wiggins has been interviewed in The Washington Post, Le Figaro, and Poets & Writers, and on Pacifica Network, Cameroon’s CRTV, Senegal’s TFM, and France 24. Her writings have appeared in the Miami Herald.

Her memoir, Civil Rights: My Story of Race, Sports, and Breaking Barriers in American Journalism, takes readers behind the scenes at the ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox affiliate TV stations where she worked between 1986 and 2009.
